Alan Jackson, LEED AP

Alan grew up outside NYC and received his Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. After graduating Alan worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Buro Happold in NYC for almost 4 years specializing in Building Information Modeling (BIM), technology and building system energy analysis. While at Buro Happold Alan had the privilege of working in the Computational Simulation and Analysis (CoSA) group. He also spent two years in Philadelphia working at KlingStubbins (now Jacobs).

Currently Alan is a Senior Building Information Specialist at CASE focusing on Technology Strategy, Software Development & Computational Analysis.

Clayton Miller, LEED AP, EIT

Clayton Miller is a PhD researcher at ETH Zürich in the Institute of Technology in Architecture as part of the SuAT Chair. His career has spanned design, construction, and operations of buildings in the USA, Singapore, and now Switzerland. His research focuses on bridging the design to operations performance gap and the use of BEM and BIM in building operations.

As you’ll notice from his posts, Clayton is on a mission to spread the use of high level scripting languages (Python mostly) and 21st century Q&A for the BIM/BEM domains.
